Industry: Laboratory 

This client offers clinical laboratory services, such as blood work, strep, sonogram, laceration, X-ray, flu, and more. The company has been in operation for over 5 years.

The Challenge

The client contacted us believing we have what it takes to solve their SEO problems. There’s a team of digital marketers employed by the company, comprising four individuals. Unfortunately, the employees handling the client’s digital marketing campaigns didn’t have access to advanced tools and lacked technical know-how. Thus, they couldn’t make much impact and were not to blame for this.  

Now, what was the client’s challenge? It was about traffic and ranking. The client wasn’t getting much traffic and revenue kept dropping.  

So the client’s request was clear. They wanted us to help improve organic traffic to their online business and boost their ranking. Another proposal made by the client was that they desired our SEO experts to work with their team. We did as requested and came up with an approach on how to fix the problem.  


Our Approach

The conclusion we arrived at after much analysis, and brainstorming is that we were going to create a blog strategy. The aim is to boost traffic and increase ranking for targeted keywords.  

Here’s a summary of the strategy we used:  

  • We created and published blog posts that were in response to industry questions.  
  • The content strategy was aimed at building authority and targeting audience search. So, there were focused keywords in each of the content published.  
  • Impression rate was low, and we needed to do something about it. The step we took was to include CTA (Call-To-Actions) in the blog posts to boost click-through rate.

The Results

After 8 months working with the SEO team from the client’s end, there was a 42% increase in traffic to product page. Again, increase in organic traffic recorded was 59% and page views were up by 19%.
